The consents you give when contacting BritServe or taking out cover, what each one covers, and how to withdraw them.

1. Consent for service delivery

When you submit an order or enquiry you consent to us using your name, contact details, address and appliance information to arrange cover, schedule engineer visits and contact you about your plan. This processing is necessary for the service and continues while your plan is active.

2. Consent for marketing

Newsletter sign-up is separate and entirely optional. If you subscribe we will send appliance care tips and plan updates roughly once a month. Every message includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to be removed immediately.

3. Consent for engineer records

Our engineers record the appliance make, model, fault and work carried out at each visit. These records support your 12-month repair guarantee and help diagnose repeat faults. They are kept for six years and are available to you on request.

4. Consent on behalf of others

If you arrange cover for a property occupied by someone else, for example as a landlord, you confirm that the occupier is aware their contact details will be shared with us for appointment scheduling.

5. Withdrawing consent

Write to apexmstripe@gmail.com stating which consent you wish to withdraw. Withdrawal takes effect immediately for marketing. Withdrawing consent for service data may mean we can no longer provide cover, in which case we will treat it as a cancellation and apply our Refund Terms.
